Endurance Supplements
Endurance sport refers to sporting activities undertaken by individual athletes in which key muscles are exercised at maximal intensity for a prolonged period of time. Examples of endurance sports include ironman triathlon, 'normal' triathlon, cycling, running events from 5km through to the marathon and swimming.
Endurance athletes devote much time to their training, pursuing many of laps in the pool or tracking many kilometres of running or cycling each day. No matter how they train, endurance athletes complete a great volume of training. This places strain on their bodies physically and mentally meaning that diet and supplementation is very important.
When competing in long endurance events, replenishing carbs and electrolytes is vital to keep the body fuelled with energy to keep going
Electrolyte Plus improves hydration by replacing glycogen and electrolytes during exercise whereas SportsFuel 101 assists endurance and enhances recovery for those competing in gruelling events. It's an ideal addition to people competing in ironman or triathlon competitions, or half/full marathons to keep them fueled and hydrated.
Supplementing with Joints Complex will aid in the maintenance and repair of joints while taking a protein such as Protein Matrix+ will help muscles recover faster between training sessions.
Endurance athletes have significant crossover with Cycling & Triathletes.

What is the difference between an Ironman and a triathlon?
Both an Ironman triathlon and an Olympic triathlon have the three main events - a swim, a cycle and a running leg.
An Ironman triathlon is defined as a long-distance race involving a 3.68 kilometre swim, a 180.260 kilometre bike ride and a 42.195 kilometre run (aka a marathon). An Olympic triathlon is a lot easier (comparatively!!) with a 1.5km swin, a 40km bike ride and 10km run.
