Scroll down to learn more about Bulk Nutrients ambassador Bobby Dee, his motivations, passions and essential products to support his active lifestyle.
Hi, I'm Bobby Dee.
I'm a lifelong lover of fitness. At present, my athletic endeavours are focusing on ultra endurance running events - anything from 50 kilometres up to multi-day races covering hundreds of kilometres. In a previous life I was part of an elite military unit, a high-level rugby player, bodybuilder, strongman and triathlete.
Apart from loving to be active I am also a chiropractor, and coach athletes from all sporting backgrounds to achieve their goals - from CrossFit to Ironman triathlons and everything in between.
I love Bulk Nutrients because I can purchase pure ingredients to come up with my own concoctions with the ratio of ingredients I want. My go to is creatine, beta alanine and citruiline malate for a pre-workout, and my sleep time involves ZMA, ashwagandha and Max Sleep.
Recommendations
Here are some of the Bulk Products I love...
Creatine Monohydrate
Why I love it: It's the only supplement that I recommend for everyone! For muscle, energy, neural/mental health - it's a must for all.
How I use it: In my own secret mix... which is not so secret anymore! With citruline malate and beta alanine, with warmed up water and a bit of honey!
Max Sleep
Why I love it: Having a very poor sleep pattern from a young age, waking at 2.30am most mornings to help out at the newsagent (what are they again?) I have had disrupted sleep for YEARS - this is the best and helps me both get to sleep and stay asleep.
How I use it: Nightly before bed.
Citrulline Malate
Why I love it: It's great for energy, blood flow and a small added pump to my gym sessions. I also feel I do not get as sore when I take it.
How I use it: With my secret mix - see above!
Beta Alanine
Why I love it: It gives me some tingles, helps me prepare for my workout, and gives me a boost to get out a few extra reps each set. It also helps my endurance for running.
How I use it: In my (not so) secret mix.
My Approach to Nutrition
As a coach I have tried all diets - from raw vegan to carnivore - and what works best for me is being a balanced omnivore with a slight bias towards animal protein including fish, beef and chicken.
I always eat whole foods, and I avoid gluten as i have celiac disease.

- After Training #2: Lunch is often lean beef mince, orange, apple and carrot.
- Dinner: Fish/salmon, rice, sweet potato, salad.
- Dessert: Mousse made with 1/2 an avocado, banana, mango, RAW dairy, honey.
What is my average daily calorie intake? 4500.
