Bridget Freeman
Based in Tasmania, Bridget Freeman is a wife, mum, small business owner, and a multiple-time national and international figure and physique champion. She is passionate about health and fitness and including the life of others.
Bridget first competed in 1996 - so it's safe to say she's seen her fair share of changes! She is 54 years old, a mother of two, and has been vegan for six years and counting.
She enjoyed a highly successful career in natural bodybuilding, taking home many state, national and international competition titles over the years, within several different drug-tested federations. In 2016, she won a coveted Pro Card and a Pro Physique World Title in Budapest.
Bridget is a proud natural athlete, never using drugs to help her achieve her dreams. That ties in well with her work, having spent three years as the president of ICN Tasmania, putting on bodybuilding shows to support other natural athletes in achieving their dreams.
Bridget trains less now she's no longer competing, training with weights three days per week targeting different areas of her body. As she ages, she is focusing on her training allowing her independence for as long as possible - making the switch from aesthetics and strength. A key part of her fitness now is adventures - including hiking, softball, and walking the dogs along with her family.
Bridget wants to show people that being vegan doesn't mean you're weak and you can't build or maintain muscle. She enjoys variety in her diet, supplemented with vegan-friendly Bulk Nutrients products including Earth Protein.
