Double Choc Chip Protein Brownies

Ingredients
For the dark chocolate base:
- 1 scoop (30g) Bulk Nutrients Earth Protein in Chocolate flavour
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1/2 cup cacao
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 50g banana - mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup soy or almond milk
For the white chocolate top:
- 1 scoop (30g) Bulk Nutrients Earth Protein in Vanilla flavour
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup soy or almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or butter
- 1/2 cup choc chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a small baking tin with baking paper.
To make the dark chocolate base:
- Step 1: Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and slowly add the wet ingredients, stirring to form a thick batter.
- Step 2: Pour into the lined tin and set aside.
To make the white chocolate top:
- Step 1: Place all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor and blend until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Step 2: Spread over the dark chocolate base layer.
- Step 3: Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until set.
- Step 4: Allow to cool before removing from the tin and slicing into 12 squares.
